Hey, I'm Sophie - Bristol based makeup artist, soft glam lover, honorary bridesmaid, and your calm-in-the-chaos on wedding mornings.

 

Bridal Beauty by Sophie began in 2022 after a gentle (okay, persistent) push from my friends and family who have spent years watching me turn bedrooms into makeup studios. I was the go-to girl for nights out, obsessed with YouTube tutorials, and even doing my own Bridal makeup. It wasn't easy at first - lots of free makeup trials, lots of nerves - but when I booked my very first bride, I knew i'd found my thing.  Since then, I have helped many women feel their most beautiful, confident selves.

My style is soft glam with a natural finish - radiant skin, softly defined eyes, and a timeless look that enhances rather than hides. I work across the south of England, bringing calm energy, friendly vibes, and usually a request for someone to put on a good playlist.

I'm a bit of a paradox - an extroverted introvert who can talk for hours with your Nan and be perfectly content curled up with a book.

I'll chat with your bridesmaids, jump in with directions when things get a little hectic, and when you're in that pre-ceremony "oh my god" moment, I'll be right there - offering deep breaths, a calm voice, and a bit of kitchen roll for the tears (yes, its a must-have in the bridal kit)

When I'm not doing makeup, I'm reading, singing my heart out, going on long walks, or dreaming of moving to the Cotswolds with my family.
